Miss nails Reviewed!

Image
Hello there! The lovely people over at Miss Nails sent me two pretty shades for reviewing! I received Mango Bango (MN84) and Meet me at sunset (MN57). These were packed securely in a thermocol box and came super fast! They retail for just INR 175 which is a really good deal for such amazing polishes! (Links below!) The bottle: These beauties come in a 16ml rectangular bottle with a long handle. I fell in love with the bottle, mostly because of the studded "MISSNAILS" written on the cap. It gives the whole bottle a classy and elegant look! The applicator brush is long enough to reach the bottom so you can utilise the entire polish with ease! It's thick and soft and allows smooth application of the polish. Mango Bango (MN84) Meet me at sunset (MN57) Mango Bango: Mango Bango is a really nice summery pastel yellow. I wore it on my nails for 2-3 days without top coat and it still had such a beautiful shine to it (almost gel-like!) and didn't chip at all! I wa...

Go Diva mani bombs and cuticle oil pen reviewed!

Image
Hello there! Today, I have the review for the Go Diva mani bombs and cuticle oil pen! It is a start up by an Indian nail artist: Divya Pandey (I'll link her's and go diva's instagram below)! It is currently available only in India and the mode of payment is online transaction/bank transfer. She has a wide range of nail care as well as nail art products. Here's what I ordered: 1 cuticle oil pen (Lemon scented) 6 mani bombs (in rose, mango and vanilla, 2 each) Cuticle oil pen: The most attractive thing about these oil pens is definitely it's tip which has silicone bristles at the end. These are very handy to massage your cuticles with without getting the fingers of your other hand oily. Massaging with these bristles also helps aid the blood circulation! The lemon scented pen is very fragrant and smells amazing. Coming to the effectiveness, the oil is super fast absorbing and leaves your cuticles and nails moisturised and feeling soft for a long time! I...

Krizia Reviewed!

Image
Hey there!! Today, I'm going to review the 2 products I got from Krizia Enterprises (Instagram link at the end). I got a nice nude polish called "Iced Nirvana" and 2 mani soaks. 1. Iced Nirvana This is a REALLY amazing nude polish and I absolutely adore the shade and it completely matches the one shown in their profile. Unfortunately, it turned out to be really thin and I needed 3-4 thin coats of it for complete opacity. After contacting them regarding the same, they said that it shouldn't be that way and generously offered to mail a couple metal mixing balls free of cost. She also sent me a swatch of her own bottle and it was more pigmented than mine. Anyhow, I have zero complaints as I still love the polish and for INR 200 for 10ml, you wont be disappointed! 2. Mani Soak I was sent a pink and a yellow mani soak. I dont reall y think that they varied in any way except for the color but I might be wrong. They retail for INR 50 each. I didn't real...

Stay Quirky Base Coat and Rapid Dry Top Coat review

Image
One of the most essential must-haves in every nail polish lover's stash is a good Base and Top coat. A base coat is used mainly to prevent the nails from staining and also to adhere the polish to your nails for a longer time. Top coat is used for sealing in the design and giving it a glossy finish. If you are in India, finding a good pair of base and top coat is HARD! Not a lot of brands manufacture them and importing the well-known OPI, HK girl, Seche Vite is too expensive for some of us. I recently bought the stay quirky base and top coat because they were so talked about and went out of stock every time as soon as they were restocked! I'll link where you can buy it from at the end in case you're interested. The base coat is a milky white polish and the top coat is completely clear, The base coat kinda looks like a matte top coat (I tried, it doesn't work >.<) BASE COAT (2.5/5): The base coat applies milky and dries clear. It dries with ...

ILH Stamping Polish!!

Image
If you live in India and are  fond of nail stamping, you probably would've heard of this new startup polishes called ILH or Indian LacquerHolic owned by Kajal from Nailzfashionista and Anita from Stylethosenails. If you haven't heard about it, I'll link their instagram link somewhere in the end of this blog. These polishes are made and formulated specially for stamping which means they are highly pigmented and mostly one coaters in case you use it as a stand alone polish on your entire nail. This is a relatively new brand and has limited color options for now but they will be including lots of amazing things in the future to their collection and what more, they are planning to start India's first and only monthly nail box subscription!! This is a good news for all nail art lovers as there aren't many nail-oriented companies in the market currently. The best part is that both of them are popular and professional nail artists themselves and so they have curated ...

New Beginnings..

Hey everyone! So, I've been seeing a lot of blogs these days by so many nail artists that I follow and I thought about it and decided that why not start my own blog? Its just so that I can have a platform to talk all about my nail art and my share my honest views and opinions about everything that I try. I decided to name it Nailingitrush because A, that's the name of my instagram account and B, I really like the sound of it :D So, as the name suggests I will mostly write about everything nails but I might change it up a bit now and then so that more people (who aren't interested in just nails) can also read my blogs! I will try to post a blog every time I do a new manicure and I would love to hear your reviews and thoughts on my blog as well as on my instagram which is @nailingitrush. Also, I need sometime to get the hang of writing blogs so please bear with me :P Cheers, Rush <3
