ILH Stamping Polish!!

If you live in India and are  fond of nail stamping, you probably would've heard of this new startup polishes called ILH or Indian LacquerHolic owned by Kajal from Nailzfashionista and Anita from Stylethosenails.
If you haven't heard about it, I'll link their instagram link somewhere in the end of this blog.
These polishes are made and formulated specially for stamping which means they are highly pigmented and mostly one coaters in case you use it as a stand alone polish on your entire nail.
This is a relatively new brand and has limited color options for now but they will be including lots of amazing things in the future to their collection and what more, they are planning to start India's first and only monthly nail box subscription!!
This is a good news for all nail art lovers as there aren't many nail-oriented companies in the market currently.
The best part is that both of them are popular and professional nail artists themselves and so they have curated these polishes and boxes keeping in mind what would a nail addict love.
There isn't much known about this monthly subscription yet but I'll make sure to write more about it as soon as they are launched!

So, coming back to the ILH polishes, they currently have 5 shades:

  1. Red
  2. Silver
  3. Black
  4. Metallic Red
  5. Teal Blue
I ordered the Metallic red and Teal blue as those were the two colors that a local beauty store wouldn't commonly have,
These retail for INR 130 each and come in a cylindrical bottle with an ILH label and a long metallic silver cap.

The water decals were a gift from ILH


So, I got a letter and some water decals as a gift with the two bottles of polishes that I ordered.
First impressions:
Both the shades are eye-catchy, bright, sparkly and full of shimmer which look so beautiful in the natural light!
The cap, being long and slender, is easy to hold and paint with.
The brush is neither too wide, nor too thin and is perfect to apply on the plates as well as on your nails!
The plate used in the swatches below is XY13 from flipkart.


   

 METALLIC RED : This is a very vibrant sparkly red that is simply perfect for all Indian functions and weddings!
It looks gorgeous on a pearl white base and even better on a darker base. 
To demonstrate its beauty, I did a couple swatches on a plastic folder.

  


As you can see, it shows up really well on both light and dark bases!


Teal Blue: I like this one even more than the red because it truly is unlike any other color I've ever owned!
It looks even better on black as it does on white which is why I only included the black swatch. Do you see the sparkly shimmerness of this magical color? I'm in love with this!!



So all in all, I would just like to say that this is an amazing stamping polish and you should definitely give it a try! Finally, I'm including a swatch of all the five colours they have. These are swatched by the ILH team and not by me.
