Stay Quirky Base Coat and Rapid Dry Top Coat review
One of the most essential must-haves in every nail polish lover's stash is a good Base and Top coat.
The base coat is a milky white polish and the top coat is completely clear, The base coat kinda looks like a matte top coat (I tried, it doesn't work >.<)
A base coat is used mainly to prevent the nails from staining and also to adhere the polish to your nails for a longer time.
Top coat is used for sealing in the design and giving it a glossy finish.
If you are in India, finding a good pair of base and top coat is HARD! Not a lot of brands manufacture them and importing the well-known OPI, HK girl, Seche Vite is too expensive for some of us.
I recently bought the stay quirky base and top coat because they were so talked about and went out of stock every time as soon as they were restocked! I'll link where you can buy it from at the end in case you're interested.

BASE COAT (2.5/5):
The base coat applies milky and dries clear. It dries with a very uneven, rough surface and bumpy texture which I didn't expect. If you apply a thin coat over it of any polish, it most likely would show the bumpiness and that is completely undesirable,
However, if you are on a budget, you can definitely go for it because I didn't notice any staining after using it!
TOP COAT (2/5):
The "rapid dry" top coat does indeed dry really fast but it isn't ideal for nailarts like stamping, dotticure, freehand, etc.
The reason is, it smears the design completely. I tried applying the thin coat and a very thick coat as well but it smears nonetheless. In case you're wondering, I allowed the nailart to dry overnight so that was definitely not the cause of the smudging.
However, I found it to be really good for gradients because you do need the polishes to gel together and it does just that.
